ColdZyme® is intended to treat and alleviate common cold and flu-like symptoms. It can protect against viruses causing common cold, upper respiratory tract and flu-like symptoms and can shorten the duration of a common cold/upper respiratory tract infection/flu-like symptoms if used at an early stage of infection.

ColdZyme® is available from Boots stores, Amazon and also independent pharmacies.

  1. Open your mouth and aim the nozzle towards the back of your throat.
  2. Press down on the pump and spray 2 times (1 dose) every second hour, recommended 6 doses daily during the time you are exposed to upper respiratory tract viruses or until the symptoms are relieved. ColdZyme can be used for a longer period of time as there is no risk of overdose.

ColdZyme forms an immediate barrier in the mouth and throat with triple action:

Yes it can. There are no known concerns regarding the use of ColdZyme® during pregnancy or breast feeding as long as the Instructions For Use are adhered to.

 

Yes, it is fine to use ColdZyme on a daily basis according to its Instruction For Use/leaflet. ColdZyme works locally in the mouth and throat and the product has been biologically assessed for long term use.

In order for ColdZyme® to have maximum effect, we recommend waiting 20 minutes after spraying before eating or drinking.

Precautions

  • shield 2 Do not use ColdZyme® if you are hypersensitive/allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • shield 2 Do not use ColdZyme® after surgical intervention in mouth and/or throat until the wound is healed, without consulting your doctor.
  • shield 2 Do not inhale when applying the spray as it may cause irritation of the airways, such as cough and hoarseness.
  • shield 2 Keep ColdZyme® out of reach of children, to prevent accidents with small parts.
  • shield 2 To avoid spread of infectious disease, the product should only be used by one person.
  • shield 2 For optimal effect, do not eat or drink within 20 minutes after use.
  • shield 2 Consult a doctor if you have a high fever or if your symptoms are more severe than those of a normal common cold, as the symptoms could be due to something else.
  • shield 2 Do not use if pack is damaged or opened.
